Artistic director of Artizani, James Macpherson, has taught in a variety of institutions since 1988. Currently employed part time at Edgehill University he teaches street theatre, circus, commedia dell arte, visual theatre, mask, clown, acrobatics, physical theatre, acting styles from Greek to Post-Modern and directs student productions.

He combines an academic training at Manchester University, specialist training in a range of disciplines, the experience of exchanges and visits to international training establishments in Russia, France, Portugal and New Zealand and extensive professional experience to inform his practice.

Whilst primarily at degree level, we also have substantial experience delivering workshops in Primary and Secondary schools which have recently included Hayfield and Bamford Primaries, Glossopdale Community College and Lady Manners secondary School.
